Re: money stolen

There is a specific statute which allows the collection of double damages, and criminal prosecution if repayment is not made within 30 days. This is the route I would choose. It must be done in a particular way. You should consult your attorney.

Other choices include a civil suit now, or criminal prosecution with the hope the sentencing court orders restitution.

Re: money stolen

I have reviewed your inquiry online. Although I would need additional facts, it appears as if the company has a claim against the founder/officer for taking money from the company. If you are truly interested in recovering the money, please contact me and we will discuss suing the individual civilly and what I would charge for doing so.

Sincerely,

Adam J. Breeden, Esq.
