Can you get an outside contractor to sing a non- competition agreement after you discontinue there services.

Re: non-competition agreement
There is nothing legally precluding the contractor from signing the covenant not to compete. However, once the service is complete, the contractor has no incentive to sign the agreement and it is highly unlikely that the contractor will sign anything once the services are performed, unless it is conditioned upon payment.
