Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Ohio Attorney
Our corporation is an Indiana corporation. We have a complaint filed in an Ohio court. We have been trying for the last 15 days to find an attorney to help. We are needing to answer the complaint if just to ask for more time. How does an individual ask for an extension of time on a complaint to find proper legal representation?

Re: Ohio Attorney
Dear Imquirer: Under the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, you need merely have your Attorney contact Plaintiff's Counsel and obtain concurrence for an additional 30 days' leave to respond to the Complaimt. Then, your Attorney should file a Notice of Appearance, together with the Leave Request, with the Clerk of Court.
Contact an Ohio Attorney to represent you. Good luck!
Sincerely,
J. Norman Stark, Cleveland, Ohio.
