Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Through our pet grooming business we occasionally have repeat offenders of making appointments then not showing, can we hold the appointment with a credit card then charge the card for the amount of grooming cost if they don't show for their appointment?

Any attorney will say as long as this policy is disclosed to your customers in advance (even over the phone when they book the appointment), this is a fairly standard practice. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics and consult with a franchise attorney when you're ready to franchise your pet grooming business.
