Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
I am a sales manager for a company my boss, the owner wants me to sign a contract on behalf of the company, am I legally liable for this contract ?
1 Answer from Attorneys
ANSWER: Not necessarily. If you do sign, please add after yuor signature, "Sales Manager, XYZ Company" (or the proper name of your employer company, whatever it is.)
Then carefully also review your employment contract to see what your duties and liabilities are.
Good luck!
