Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Severance overpayment
After being laid off, my employer accidentally sent me two severance payments instead of one. I received a certified letter today demanding I send it back immediately. The amount is almost $7,000. Am I required to send it back?

Yes. They could even charge you with felony theft if you don't return it. Best regards, Edward DiCato
