Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
I own a small furniture retail store, one of my suppliers sent out a letter their furniture does not meet govt flammable standards and as such can not be sold; they are not answering the phone and are presumed to be out of business. I have 25000.00 worth of inventory that I am stuck with; what can I do to recoup; am I liable for inventory already sold; please help.

I presume you are referring to upholstered (overstuffed) furniture, in which the covers (fabrics or other cover materials) do not meet the new California standards for flammability resistence.
Please consider application of approved surface retardants, (surfactants) sprayed onto all exposed surfaces. This will bring each item into compliance and you can then sell them freely, with a tag certifying compliance, etc.
