Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Sold a puppy
I sold a collie puppy to a woman and she says he is sick. He wasn't sick when he left here. There was no contract signed or ever discussed. The money exchanged hands and I wrote her a reciept. Suchandsuch has paid $150. in full for a male collie puppy on Dec. 2001. And I signed it. Do I have to take collie back? Do I have to refund her $?

Re: Sold a puppy
Unless you knew that the puppy was sick, odds are that the dog was sold as is. Therefore, you probably do not have to return the money. In any event, it is the type of case that the buyer would take to small claims court.
Good Luck!!!!
