Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Start a partnership
Myself and 3 family members are trying to start a partnership. We are looking to wholesale our personal framed artwork and cardlines. We started paperwork through legalzoom for a DBA, but now I'm not sure what we need. We also would like to start by working out of our homes. My question is, what paperwork do we need to fill out and are we able to wholesale out of our homes?

Re: Start a partnership
Some sort of written partnership agreement between family members would be helpful to determine who is responsible for what, and that individual creative rights to works are signed over to the business entity first. You also want to check with local laws to see what kinds of businesses are permitted out of homes without vendors or other licenses.
