Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
I did what I thought was right now can it bite me
I worked for a daycare and found it was not ran like it should be. So I talked to the owner and told her how I felt she ignored my concerns. After that I gave my 2 weeks and sent a note home with parents telling them I am leaving and here is why. I told them my concerns in the letter. And i told them for the childrens safey. Now can the owner come after me for sharing my concerns with the parents? Knowing that I never trashed her as a person and never lied about anything.

Dear Concerned Reader: The truth is always a good defense to any claims of defamation, i.e. slander (spoken) or libel (written).
BUSINESS INTERFERENCE: This tort occurs when a person, without a privilege, induces or otherwise purposely causes a third party not to enter into, or continue, a business relationship, or perform a contract with another. Liability for business interference is established if the defendant's acts are without privilege and interfere with the plaintiff's right to conduct business.
If in doubt, please consult an experienced Attorney ASAP for guidance and advice.
Good luck!
Sincerely, J. Norman Stark
