Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Trademark Law
I have several trademarks. Some are from 20 years ago and I still pay the renewal fee. I have noticed a large company has begun to use one in its daily advertising and the selling of items in their stores.
What exactly is the law regarding trademarks. I thought before they could use something they needed to do a search in each state they were going to do business.
What can I do to prevent them from using my trademarks?
Thank you so much for your time and help.

Re: Trademark Law
You are going to need to put them on notice of the violation. After that, there may be an action filed over the validity of the trademark and the unauthorized use.
