Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
Unauthorized payroll deduction
Our company provides bonus for criteria met, my paycheck was deducted 1/2 and given to telemarketers without my knowledge or authorization. The owner falls back on it is my business and I can do what I want. Is this legal, that he is able to take money owed indiscriminately? Thank you for your help.

Re: Unauthorized payroll deduction
Your employer cannot legally deduct items from your paycheck unless the law requires it OR you authorize it. He cannot do anything he wants. I don't have enough other facts to tell you what you ought to do.
