Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
wife owns business. Husband placed advertising. wife claims she knew nothing about transactions. Husband is in jail. Who is responsible for paying our bill?

If you can show they are a partnership, then the wife. A partnership is defined (in the eyes of the law) as two or more people carrying on in business to make a profit.
If they owe a small amount, take them to small claims court. If they owe more, speak to a lawyer so you can be sure how best to proceed.
