civil case on a car accident

i had got into a car accident in resulting me to having a heart attack, it was not my fault, a company truck had ran a stop sign and hit my little tracker car, the driver was on company time i got a lawyer, and he took my case so we was suppose to go to court and i had went and my lawyer did not show up so the judge set another date well that day came and i forgot what time the date was and i had lost the court papers so i called clerk of courts to find out the time and they had told me that the case has been dismissed, i called my lawyer and told him and he told me that he would go to court and find out what was going on, he would call me back at lunch time and let me know, it has been about three months now and the whole three months i have been trying to get a hold of my lawyer and he has not called me back or attempted to call me back, what should i do?
