dismissed charges
last fall i was stopped for an ovi in ohio charges were also brought for carrying a concealed weapon. the ovi went through but the weapon charge was dismissed is it lawful for a potential employer to deny my employment for a dismissed charge on a background check?

It's lawful. What you need to do though is get the record of the dismissed charge sealed. There is a procedure for that. What county did this occur in? Maybe I could help.
