Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
i feel my lawyer is not being true and fair . i was in auto accident he has told me for 11 mos we should go to court and now ins co has offered a small settlement now he doesnt want to go to court. when he was hired it was stated no recovery no fee if i fire him do i still have to pay him the 4.000 dollars

Your attorney is entitled to a portion of the settlement under a legal/Latin term called quantum meruit. He would have to submit a billing statement to your new counsel showing the Mount of work done and the amount of work he put in to the case.
