Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
My friend harassed an X girlfriend by calling her at work and home. He also sent Facebook messages. One of those were he said he was gonna kill her. He just got served from a sherif. Has an upcoming court date in Ohio. Any idea of his troubles?

Google, "aggravated menacing." Your buddy is looking at up to 6 months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000. Of course, if this is his first offense, he may be unlikely to see any jail time. It depends on the prosecutor and how seriously they prosecute these cases.
