Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
garnishment
a judgement for a 185.00 credit card expence which is now 1600.00 dollars was rendered against me and now I am curious about how much is the creditor allowed to take out of my checking? i have direct deposit and i need money to live on as well. can they take my whole check?

I believe that each court has its own limits, but as I remember, the creditor can only take either 25% -33% of your check.
