Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
I have non violent felony 5, I still have the right to own firearms, my question is can I get my CCW? I have looked everywhere but application is not clear. The law is you can not have a felony that can land you in prison for over one year, a felony 5 is maximum 12 months, so is it the same law to get a CCW? It seems like I am is some legal gray area

As a convicted felon, regardless of the charge, you are federally barred from owning a firearm. You will most certainly be denied a CHL (Concealed Handgun License) in Ohio.
