Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
Paying Money Back to an X
I was seeing someone for about a year and during that time was in an accident and lost my job. He kept offering to pay some of my bills and at first I honestly said NO thankyou . However, I ended up getting so behind on bills and he called me for 4 days straight asking me why I would not let him help me.I told him because I couldnt pay him back and he insisted. He began practically stalking me and I broke it off with him.Now he calls everyday threatenig to sue me! Its awful. We have no contract. Can he sue me?

He can sue you, but you defend yourself with your own testimony. If you are believed you will win, since what he did was a gift.
