Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
Removal of Personal Items
I recently ended a two year relationship with my boyfriend and moved out. I am unable to remove the remaining portion of my personal effects until my father can come to help me on December 10, 2005. My ex boyfriend is insisting that I return the house key to him now. Do I have to do this or do I have a legal right to keep the key until my personal items are removed by me?

Re: Removal of Personal Items
Are you on a lease?? If not, he can remove and dispose your property at will. If so, you do have rights.
