Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
School withdrawal
My sons biological mother went to his new high school and withdrew him without my knowledge. The school never contacted me, and she knew she had no rights to do this. I'm not worried about her any longer, I would like to know how I can go after the school that allowed him to be withdrawn and the school that enrolled him?

Re: School withdrawal
The question is, did you make sure the school knew that they SHOULDN'T let the child go with his mother? If they didn't know, they didn't do anything illegal.
Make a point of sitting down with school principal to explain your situation, so that they are absolutely and actually aware that the mother has no rights to remove the child from school. You might have to give them a copy of the court order that says so.
