Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio

I have been summoned for a debt I owe to a loan company. I would prefer to handle this directly through the loan company, I'm just not sure how to approache them. I am willing to pay off my debt through automatic payments, I just don't want to say the wrong thing. I fear they will not work with me and that I would get hit hard with court and attorney fees. I just want this settled asap. How would you suggest I handle this?

If you're in the position to repay the loan company, they're going to listen. Period. Collection agencies don't turn away offers of money, even if you can't pay the entire amount in one lump sum. Contact them sooner rather than later, as their court costs and attorney fees could cause your repayment amount to increase.
