Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
Tape Recording
Hello. Recently I received a disgruntled patron at my job and she brought up an interesting point. She said ''Should I start tape recording the conversations that I have had with your place of employment''. This stunned me. Could she tape record without going to jail? Also, she wanted to file a small claims case stating that she would file because we didnt have the matieral and we said that we should have. I do not believe this would hold any validity in court, because we never told her to park, she could use public transportation. What do you think?

Re: Tape Recording
Yes, she could record any conversation in which she is a party and it would be admissable.
