confronting police
If you are walking down the street not breaking any laws and a police officer asks to see your driver's license do you have to show it to them? do you have to stop and talk to them?

if you aren't doing anything, they have no right to stop you. Doesn't mean they won't.
And, if you then GIVE them a reason to arrest you, they certainly will.
We don't yet live in a Gestapo state, but that doesn't mean they won't try it. Have a local lawyer on your cell phone and call him for backup.
