Legal Question in Construction Law in Ohio
Adding a addition to my condo
I want to have a contractor add a three season room to my condo. This will be built in accord with city building codes. My condo association says I have to pay to have my condo surveyed and that the condo docs have to be changed.
Why does this have to be done?

Re: Adding a addition to my condo
The law says that uniformity of the condo is imperative and that in order to make any additions to the outside of the 4 walls you need to change the declarations or get all of the homeowners to agree.
Good Luck!!!
