If you want a free notice of commencement, I am sure they are available at various document preparation places online. However, you get what you pay for.
Sometimes a project owner does not need to file a notice of commencement in Ohio. However, it is important that if you do, you get all of the I's dotted and T's crossed--one mistake could make you liable for paying twice on a project for the same work. One payment will be your original payment to your general contractor and the second may be a repeat payment to a subcontractor. I know attorneys that charge a very reasonable rate for this Notice.
