Dear Involuntary-Assistant Home Builder: Heck yes! If you have title to the land (real property) upon which the house is being built, fire the rascal, change the locks on the doors and have your Attorney notify him, in writing of his termination ASAP, and to not return or you'll charge him with criminal trespassing! You're being hood winked. (That's a nice word substitute for being cheated, misled, or scrod!)
Retain experienced legal counsel to advise and assist you ASAP. Good luck.
Sincerely, J. Norman Stark..
