Legal Question in Construction Law in Ohio
Non payment on materials.
I was a remodeling contractor. I did work on a home. The home owner didnt pay me for my serivces or materials. I sued and lost. In the suite I have to pay for the materials. How can I get this off of my credit record or what options do I have?

Re: Non payment on materials.
Dear Former Contractor: You have several alternatives; namely (1) File for bankruptcy and completely ruin your credit, or (2) arrange with the supplier to pay off the materials invoices over a period of time, in order to have the judgment satisfied and your credit rating re-established again.
IU strongly urge you retain an experienced Attorney to advise and assist you, otherwise, you'll be right back where your started - in debt, out of work, and with no supplier credit, and poor credit rating, etc.
Sorry. Better luck next time.
Good luck.
Sincerely,
J. Norman Stark
