Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
I bought a 05 ford ranger that came with a 90-day warranty for the engine and drive train. I had it for 2 weeks and it needs a new torque converter, that wont pay because they said it was a pre-exiting condition. HOW DO I GET THEM TO PAY?

In Ohio, the failure to honor a warranty is a breach of Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act which allows for actual damages and attorneys fees. I am not sure how they can consistently maintain that a warranty does not cover a "pre-existing condition". That is the whole point of a warranty to cover the buyer in case there is something wrong with the vehicle.
If you use the vehicle as your personal transportation (meaning that you don't use it as a corporate work truck) then you are covered by the CSPA.
