Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
I bought a furnace that I thought was new but I later found out it was 8 years old I had enough time so I canceled the check I wrote can I get in trouble for that? Also what should be my next step?

In Ohio, the Consumer Sales Practices Act forbids a supplier for giving a consumer a used product and saying it is new. You would also have causes of action for breach of contract and fraud. By canceling the check the recipent of the check may sue for the amount of the check, but you would have some affirmative defenses under the cspa.
