Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
Car Loan missing downpayment
Bought car. Told I would get 1000$ off. Contract I signed didn't have it on it. They were supposed to get 1100$ check from me for downpayment. They never asked for the check, and we forgot about it too. Do I legally need to give them the check, even after the deal is done and do I have any recourse for getting them to adjust the contract?

Re: Car Loan missing downpayment
As to whether or not you owe the money, you must look to the contract. Realistically, the dealership will probably catch it when you want to get title to the vehicle or when the lease is over.
