used car purchase rights
my son purchased a used car as is. on the way home the transmission went out. the seller did not disclose that there was a problem.do we have any way to recover a portion of the money or insist on the seller buying the vehicle back?

You would have to prove that the seller knew the transmission would go. It is hard to show that without some evidence to show the seller's knowledge and intent to deceive...
