Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
Can I take some one to court over a verbal agreement?
I agreed to adopt a dog from a local vet on a contingency that the dog would
receive surgery for her leg at no cost to me. They have repeatedly backed
out, however I did have a witness at the time of agreement. This dog needs
ACL surgery and it will cost me 2000 dollars to fix. If I give it back they will
euthanize it. Do I have a case?

Sounds like they backed out before you took on any expenses, which may be allowed. Call me directly to make sure since I know more: when was offer made? What happened since then?
