Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
credit cards
A certain person just passed away from lung cancer. He ran up alot of credit cards is the last month of his life. Don't know what he spent it all on. Credit cards in his name only. He was very ill at the time, wasn't something he would normally do. Who is responsible for the debt. There is no power of attorney. Who is responsible for the debt?

Re: credit cards
His estate is reponsible for those debts. Anyone who might be expecting an inheritance should be concerned.
