''Lietime Guarantees''
If I have work done on my house an the contracter offers a ''Lifetime Guarantee'' that is ''transferable'' and I sell the house and there is a problem with the work that was done but the contracter has gone out of buisness in the meantime who is or is anyone responsible to honor this warranty?

Re: ''Lifetime Guarantees''
I cannot tell from your question what kind of guarantee this is, but if it is coming from the contractor, then he or his company is on the hook. I need to know if a corporation made the agreement or someone personally.
