Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
Monday--- took the car back sos they could fix it as they previously told me on Saturday. The mechanic said he tightened the valvle covers and test it and its fine, there is nothing wrong with the car. I asked why was the Service engine light still on and was then told that "These old cars engine lights sometime stay on, there is nothing wrong with the car. The next day I took the car to get a diagnostic and it came back with 8 problem codes on the engine. Sensorys, ac, torch concerter, etc. I then called the shop/salesman and told him that the light was still on. He gave the same story no problems with the car. Then I told him it was problems, I got it looked at and it has over 8 error codes, electircal problems etc. He then said he fixed the car, nothings wrong with it and started overtalking me when I demanded that I was brnging the car back and wanted a refund. So we have had the car for 4 days. saturday, sunday, monday, Tuesday, going to personally try to demand & return the car tomorrow. However get the huge feeling this guy is not going to comply. What can I do leagally? Does this fall within the Ohio Lemon law if they had a dealers license, no warantys. Tomorrow will be the 3rd biz day.

If you're going to take it back you had better do so tomorrow. You will need a statement from the mechanics who witnessed the problem codes. Have a witness when you take it back and take pics of anything you can.
