How much money can I get from someone in court?
How much money can I get from a person in court. If I bought something from them and they said they got the payment but they never sent me my mechandice. They won't reaspond to emails and they deny ever having got any money or starting any transaction (in an online dispute service). They said I could by the laptop from them for $700.00. They said I could send them half now and half later (when I receive the laptop). So I sent them $350.00 and I never got the laptop or my money back.

Re: How much money can I get from someone in court?
You arre basically talking about breach of contract. You are not permitted pain and suffering. You can get the $350.00 plus the cost of the calls and court costs. Any actual damages associated as a result of the action by the wrongdoer.
