Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
My mothers bankruptcy lawyer is now avoiding her case. She has paid him in full and he chose not to schedule a requested appointment with her. He stated he wanted to fill his appointments with new cases to get more income. His phones have been disconnected and he never returns phone calls or completes requests. Is there anything legally she can do for this misconduct?

In Ohio, if something like this is happening then she needs to take steps to hire another attorney to make sure that her rights before the bankruptcy court are protected, and it would not be a bad idea to ring up the local bar association and provide them with documentation of her complaint.
