Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
Notarized bill of sale vs. Transfer Forms
I purchased Personal Seat Licenses and Season tickets to a professional sports team for 2002 from the previous owner of these seats. The sports team does not process transfers received after May until after the completion of the 2002 season. These PSL's give me rights to playoff tickets, but the Sports team does not recognize a notarized bill of sale that specifically states my rights to 2002 playoff tickets and the right to purchase future season tickets. The sports team informed me that it is a private matter, and they will not honor my notorized bill of sale. I plan on taking legal action on the previous owner (seller), but does the sports team have to honor the bill of sale since it specifically states to serve as notice of transfer to the sports team, since transfers of PSL's are authorized between parties?
