Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
osale of a car
I recently agreeged to sell my car. the guy has only given me $800 of the $5000. He has sice put a new engine in the car wants to sell it. The title is still in my name. Can I go and reposess my car? since he did not pay me in full.

First, as long as he keeps making payments you can't do anything. Second, even if he goes in default, repossession rights depend on the amount of equity he has. There is no simple answer to that question because of the new engine he put in. Thirdly, he may be able to hold you liable because of the faulty engine, depending on any written or implied warranties involved in the transaction.
