Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
rescind signed contractor proposal
I signed a proposal yesterday with a concrete contractor to have my driveway repaired. Today I received a lower estimate from another contractor.
Do I have 72 hours to cancel the work with the first contractor?

If it was a home solicitation contract you would have 72 hours. If not you should call them right away and tell them you made a mistake and need to cancel for the time being. Since no work has been done they might let you cancel without any problems.
