Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
sallie mae approved a high student loan to my daughter in 2008 that i did not agree to 9,000.00. Now sallie mae wants me to pay for something that i never co-signed for. I thank my daughter did this on line and sallie mae used my information from the fasfa i signed. They also hold the fed student loan that was approved. How can my name be taken off this high loan?

In Ohio, if you never actually co-signed, then they cannot hold you responsible for the debt. However, you should review carefully all of the forms that you did sign to make sure that there is no language therein which might make you responsible for the debt.
