Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
Sewage Charges
In April of 2007 we found out our home was not tied into the City/Village sewage system. For the past 5 1/2 years we have been charged between $40.00 - $100.00 a month for sewage from the Village. What should I do about getting my money back. I have sent a letter to the village demanding the return of my money for the unlawful charges for sewage and gave them 30 days to pay. That 30 days have come and gone. What should I do next. Is there anything I can do. Our home is now tied into the Village sewage system as of May 2007

Re: Sewage Charges
the next thing to do, since they are not paying attention to you, is file a lawsuit. It seems you have a good case but I cannot say for sure without more facts. There is also an issue of immunity. Feel free to call for a free cansultation.
