being sued
i did some repairs on a motorcycle for a price, now the motorcycle has malfuntioned after about a month after the repairs and i have offered to remedy the problem at no charge to the person, but they have decided to sue me instead for more than the repair bill was, will they win their case making me pay back more money than they orignally paid to begin with?

It depends on the damages the individual is claiming and the theories of recovery. For instance, under the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, an individual is entitled to treble damages (three time actual damages). Without knowing more, or reviewing the Complaint, the answer is yes.

Yes! It could be much more if you violated the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act... You could be sued for three times the plaintiff's damages, plus his attorney's fees.
