Legal Question in Consumer Law in Ohio
Title of ownership
I have been trying to obtain my title of ownership and the person i purchased my vehicle is now serving a prison sentence for criminal fraud. The business he purchased the cars from placed a lien on the car and want me to buy it from them. I call that ''black mail'', they were stung by this criminal and now i have to pay twice for a car i purchase already?? What can i do to obtain my title???

Re: Title of ownership
Try going to the local BMV office which issues titles and explain your problem. They may issue you a new title. If they won't, you will need to file a lawsuit to get a judge to order a new title issued. If you need a lawsuit, please feel free to call if you are around Summit County. I can give you a price (free initial consultation).
