Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

capitol one credit card

I had a charge off in 2001 from capitol one,now NCO collections bought my debt and call me 2 x a day,they have wrong mailing addresses and i never received anypapers. they are threatening to sue. I thought statue limitations were up n this debt since it has bee almost 9 years.

Statute of limitations on a written contract is 15 years, which this arguably is.
