Old Car Debt

I just need to Know wich state SOL is used. My wife (before we met) bought a car in TX it was repoed in AZ and we now live in OH. The SOL was up in AZ while we lived there and is up for TX where it was bought can they now collect on the debt useing OH SOL

Is there a choice of law clause on the original paperwork for the car loan? If not, they could try in Ohio which has a 15 year SOL for written contracts.
