I had above ground pool installed last summer . Installer damged liner ,I contacted litehouse pools several times last summer.but they did not fix liner. now my loan is due by 5-27-2007 of 4400.00 or i will have to pay back interest. I feel if I pay citifinancial the balance litehouse will never replace liner,but I dont want a non payment to hurt my credit score

Based on the information you have provided, it is possible that you have a basis for a lawsuit against the pool liner installation company. It would be necessary to look at the contract you had with the installation company and all the communications you had with the company about fixing the problem. I definitely recommend consulting an attorney about this. When you talk with the attorney, make sure you bring up the balance with Citi Financial and the due date. He or she can advise you, based on the situation and if you decide to proceed with a suit against the installation company, whether to pay the balance or possibly join Citi Financial as a party in the suit.
