Debtor exam
I am being sued by my divorce attorney of 8 years ago. This debt was ordered to be paid by my ex. husband per our divorce document. I have 4 kidsmy child support does not even get paid regular. I have no assets and am employed as an independent contractor do Ihave any rights. What would happen if I did not show up?

If you received notice from the Court of a judgment debtor exam, that is direct court order. Not appearing would be a violation of a court order and you could be found in contempt and arrested.
If you feel you should not have to pay the debt, I suggest finding a lawyer who would be willing to have a free consultation to go over the situation and see what your options are.
